Advances in microdroplet injections with botulinum toxin A for the treatment of rosacea

Abstract: Botulinum toxin A is a neurotoxin which is widely used in skin beauty. In recent years, many studies have confirmed that botulinum toxin A is safe and effective in treating facial erythema and telangiectasia associated with rosacea. The treatment mechanism, clinic application, efficacy and safety of botulinum toxin are reviewed in this paper.
