Application of hyaluronic acid injection on prompting facial rejuvenation

Abstract: Researches have shown that hyaluronic acid can promote facial rejuvenation by stimulating dermal collagen synthesis, inhibiting sebaceous gland secretion and shrinking pores.Hyaluronic acid can also be combined with botulinum toxin, platelet-rich plasma and carbon dioxide to improve facial aging. The mechanism, forms, efficacy and persistence of hyaluronic acid promoting facial rejuvenation are reviewed.
