A case of monkeypox

Abstract: A 39-year-old male presented with ulcer on the penis for 9 days, papules,vesicles,and ulcers on the trunk and limbs for 6 days,who had homosexual high-risk sexual behavior before 10 days onset. Dermatological examination showed a soy-sized ulcer on his penis with no tenderness. Rice-sized papules and vesicles scattered on his trunk and limbs, and there were ulcers in the center of some vesicles. There was no superficial lymph node enlarged. The diagnosis of monkeypox was confirmed based on clinical and laboratory examination result. Currently, the patient has been transferred to designated hospital.
