Lupus vulgaris misdiagnosed as sarcoidosis: a case report

Abstract: We report a case of lupus vulgaris patient with skin rashes on the whole body and face for 10 years. The patient was treated with corticosteroids for sarcoidosis, but the effect was poor. Sarcoidosis was excluded after relevant examinations, and the diagnosis of lupus vulgaris was made. Anti-tuberculosis treatment was given for one year, and the rash basically subsided.
