Abstract: Nodular localized lichen myxedematosus is clinically rare, with only 5 cases reported in children worldwide. We report a 6-year-old girl with multiple skin-colored and pale yellow nodules on the trunk and extremities for 3 years, without subjective symptoms. Histopathology and Alcian blue staining showed massive mucin deposition between dermal collagens. After excluding juvenile self-healing lichen myxedematosus and other diseases, the diagnosis of nodular localized lichen myxedematosus was made. No treatment was given, and the condition remained stable during a 6-month follow up.
