Abstract: Down syndrome (trisomy 21) is a chromosomal disorder involving multiple organ systems, with diverse cutaneous manifestations. We report a case of Down syndrome complicated by atopic dermatitis and acanthosis nigricans. The patient was treated with oral tofacitinib combined with topical therapy, with improvement in pruritus and skin lesions. By reporting this case and reviewing literatures, we intend to improve recognition of cutaneous disorders associated with Down syndrome, especially those related to immune and metabolic abnormalities, and to provide a reference for clinical practice.
