Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm: a case report and literature review

Abstract: A 72-year-old female presented with erythematous papules all over body for 6 months and aggravated for one month. Biopsy of the papules was characterized by a diffuse infiltration of lymphoid cells in the lower dermis with an uninvolved zone in the upper dermis and immunohistochemistry revealed that CD56 and CD123 were positive and CD4 was weak positive. The diagnosis of blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm Relevant literature review was made.
