Abstract: Objective: To investigate the immune response to Talaromyces marneffei?melanin in BALB/c mice. Methods: The BALB/c mice were stimulated by Talaromyces marneffei cells melanin granules. The Talaromyces marneffei melanin antibodies were collected and detected by agglutination test and indirect ELISA. Results: The mice were immunized with different degrees of ascites, hair removal or spleen enlargement. The ascites, mice serum and supernatant of myeloma fusion cells had agglutination reaction with Talaromyces marneffei melanin granules And the OD of the antibody were 1.635±0.085、1.820±0.249、0.671±0.142 respectively. Conclusion: The Talaromyces marneffei melanin may stimulate immune system to produce antibodies.
