Abstract: Immune targeted therapy is widely applied in the treatment of tumors and autoimmune diseases, and vitiligo induced by such agents has emerged as a clinically concerning adverse event.Although IL-17 inhibitors, TNF-α inhibitors and immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have distinct targets, they can all induce drug-related vitiligo by disrupting regulatory T cell (Treg) homeostasis, activating the IFN-γ/JAK-STAT signaling axis, and recruiting CD8+ T cells to attack melanocytes. This paper reviews the clinical characteristics, risk stratification, immune mechanisms, diagnosis and treatment of vitiligo associated with the above medications.

Key words: immune targeted therapy, vitiligo, immune checkpoint inhibitors, interleukin-17 inhibitors, tumor necrosis factor-α inhibitors, regulatory T cells
