Celiac disease-related cutaneous manifestations

Abstract: Celiac disease is an immune-mediated chronic inflammatory disease that occurs in genetically susceptible individuals. The exact etiology is not yet clear. Genetic, immune and environmental factors are all involved in the occurrence and development of celiac disease. Current studies have found that celiac disease is closely related to dermatitis herpetiformis, psoriasis, vitiligo, atopic dermatitis, alopecia areata and other skin diseases. Therefore, this article aims to summarize the skin manifestations related to celiac disease.
