Update of treatment of psoriasis in pregnancy

Abstract: Psoriasis is an immune-related chronic inflammatory disease. Most female patients develop psoriasis during their reproductive years. At present, traditional medicines and biologics have achieved good results in the treatment of psoriasis, but they all may lead to adverse pregnancy events. This review aims to discuss the efficacy and safety of the main drugs used to treat psoriasis in pregnancy, including traditional medicines and biologics, as well as previously reported studies on the treatment of psoriasis in pregnancy, so as to provide a reference for clinical decision-making.
