Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma with secondary cutaneous lesions: a case report

Abstract: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common aggressive non-Hodgkin lymphoma, capable of involving multiple extranodal organs including the skin. This report describes a 60-year-old male patient initially diagnosed with gastric DLBCL (germinal center type). After achieving complete response (CR) with R-CHOP chemotherapy, he rapidly developed cutaneous masses. Pathology and immunohistochemistry revealed transformation to a non-germinal center subtype with a Ki-67 proliferation index as high as 85%. Following treatment adjustment to the Pola-BR regimen (Polatuzumab vedotin combined with Bendamustine and Rituximab), the skin lesions rapidly regressed after the first cycle of chemotherapy.
