Norwegian scabies manifested as erythroderma: a case report

Abstract: A 53-year-old female presented with erythema, papules, and pruritus on both upper limbs for one year and spread to the whole body for three months. The patient was misdiagnosed as allergic dermatosis and was treated with antihistamine and glucocorticoid ointment with no response. The biopsy and microscopic examination revealed scabies mite. The patient was treated with zinc oxide sulfur ointment.
