Primary cutaneous amyloidosis on the scalp: a case report

Abstract: The lesion of primary cutaneous amyloidosis are common on pretibial, back, thighs, penis, face and neck, which is rare on the scalp. We report one case of primary cutaneous amyloidosis on the scalp. The patient was treated with topical retinoic acid (0.1%) for 2 months. The skin lesions were not better, but the pruritus was relieved. The patient is under follow-up now.
