Abstract: Infantile hemangioma is a common abnormal vascular disease. At present, the pathogenesis of IH, especially the mechanism of its spontaneous regression, both are not very clear. Study found that the endothelial cells of hemangioma have homology with placenta-derived vascular endothelial progenitor cells. Genetic susceptibility, some angiogenesis regulators, cytokines, transcription factors, signaling pathways and genes play an important role in the pathogenesis of IH. The update of the pathogenesis of IH is reviewed in this paper, in order to provide new ideas for the treatment of IH.
