Abstract: A 31-year-old male presented with red plaques on the right side of the face for one month, gradually forming mass changes. The patient had been scratched by the horn of sheep before the onset of the disease. The pathology showed the epidermis exuded and scabbed, the epidermis showed pseudoepithelioma like hyperplasia, the Acanthous layer showed focal edema, the dermal papilla was highly edematous, and the dermis was densely infiltrated by inflammatory cells mainly composed of lymphocytes, neutrophils, eosinophils, histiocytes and multinuclear giant cells. Fungal culture, Mycobacterium fast culture and acid fast bacilli staining were all negative. The culture of local secretion bacteria indicated that Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA). The diagnosis of chronic infectious granuloma of face (caused by multidrug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) was made. The patient recovered after 7 days of oral moxifloxacin treatment.
