Abstract: Rosacea is a kind of chronic and recurrent inflammatory disease that often occurs in the middle of the face. The mechanism of the rosacea may be associated with a variety of comorbidities, and the gastrointestinal comorbidities are the most common. The association between rosacea and gastrointestinal system and the possible common pathophysiological mechanism were reviewed in this paper, and the mechanism of the gut-skin axis was described to provide a new treatment for patients with rosacea.
