Granulosa cell tumor on the left heel: a case report

Abstract: Granular cell tumor (GCT) is a rare soft tissue tumor. The skin lesions are atypical and usually occur in the head and neck, but rarely on the feet. The patient presented with keratinous plaques on the left heel for 20 years. Histopathology showed large circular cells arranged in nests within the dermis,the nucleus is small and centered, acidophilic granules can be seen in the cytoplasm. Immunohistochemistry showed S-100(+), SOX10(+), NSE(+), CD68(+). The patient was diagnosed with granulosa cell tumor and underwent surgical resection.
