Abstract: Objective: To detect the serum level of IL-17 and IL-22 in patients with pityriasis rosea onset. Method: The levels of IL-17 and IL-22 were detected by ELISA in patients with pityriasis rosea (45 patients in the acute stage, 45 patients in the recovery stage) and 45 healthy controls. Results: The level of IL-17 of pityriasis rosea patients with acute period, recovery stage and healthy controls was (45.08±14.34) pg/mL, (29.34±11.88) pg/mL and (15.51±8.79) pg/mL respectively, with significant differences (P<0.05); IL-22 was (85.43±20.01) pg/mL,(61.26±10.37) pg/mL and (50.54±13.28) pg/mL respectively, with significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion: The expression levels of IL-17 and IL-22 of pityriasis rosea in acute period and recovery stage are both increased, which may indicate the imbalance of Th17 cell subsets in pityriasis rosea.
