Abstract: Objective: To detect the level of CD44 molecule in the lesions of lichen planus (LP). Methods: The level of CD44 was detected by immumohistochemical staining in the 30 samples of LP, 10 normal skin samples and 10 skin samples of lymphocytic infiltration. Results: The positivity rate of CD44 molecules in the epidermis and dermis of LP lesions was higher than those in the normal skin and lympho-cytic infiltration samples (Ps<0.01). Conclusion: CD44 molecule may be associated with LP.
