麻风生物样本库的建立和应用

摘要: 目的:建立麻风生物样本库,为解决“消除麻风危害”的关键科学问题提供生物资源。方法:山东省建立项目实施小组,协同相关省市麻风防治工作人员核实完善所在区域麻风患者临床信息,采集患者血液、组织等样本,然后采用相关技术处理各类生物标本,完成入库的同时将临床信息录入生物样本库管理系统。结果:自2005年建库以来,共收集到来自全国19个省份、19个民族的81,532份不同类型样本,其中组织标本35,268份,血液标本33,320份,微生物标本(鼻黏膜拭子)12,944份;以上述样本为基础开展了麻风的系列研究并取得原创性成果。结论:建成了国际上最大的麻风生物资源库,以资源库为基础开展国内外合作并取得一系列原创成果,为完成我国“消除麻风危害中长期规划(2011-2020)”,进而为实现世界卫生组织“创造一个没有麻风的世界”贡献中国智慧奠定了基础。

Abstract: Objective: To establish a biobank for leprosy and provide biological resources for solving the key scientific problems of "eliminating leprosy hazard". Methods: We collected blood and tissue samples with the help of leprosy prevention staff from each provinces. All kinds of samples were extracted by using the related technologies, and then imported the data into the biobank management system and stored the samples into the biobank. Results: The preparing work of biobank began in 2005. As of Feb 28, 2017, 81,532 samples (including both Han and 18 ethnic minorities) from 19 provinces have been collected, covering 35,268 tissue samples, 33,320 blood samples and 12,944 microbiological specimens (Nasal swab). Based on these resource, our team conducted a series research initiatives involving genetic background of leprosy and risk factor of dapsone hypersensitivity syndrome as well. Conclusion: The largest leprosy Biobank in the world has been successfully established which makes our team has achieved original findings in leprosy research and in order to complete China's long-term plan for the elimination of leprosy (2011-2020), also it has laid the foundation for the world health organization to contribute Chinese wisdom to "creating a world free of leprosy".
