Update of the relation between psoriasis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

Abstract: The pathogenesis of both psoriasis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is involved in the same inflammatory cytokines and psoriasis can increase the risk of NAFLD. The insulin resistance, TNF-αand adipokines play important roles in the onset of psoriasis complicated with NAFLD. The update of the relationship between psoriasis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is reviewed.
