Progress of keratin in skin aging

Abstract: Keratin is a protein formed by intermediate filaments in epithelial cells. To date, 54 species of human keratin have been found, including 28 type I and 26 type II keratins. Study on the expression of keratin in skin aging can provide new ideas and guidance for the preventing and delaying skin aging. The update of keratin in skin aging is presented in this paper.
