Effect of keratinocyte and fibroblast on the pathogenesis and treatment of vitiligo

Abstract: Melanocyte is the key point in vitiligo, but the communication between epidermal and dermal cells may strictly affect the function of skin and the onset of vitiligo, such as keratinocyte, fibroblast and extracellular matrix. The effect of non-melanocytic skin cells on vitiligo and the treatment mechanism is summarized in the viewpoint of cytokines and oxidative stress in this paper.
