Acute telogen effluvium after face lift surgery: a case report

Abstract: A 51-year-old female presented with a 2-month history of hair shedding after face lift surgery and the condition was progressive worsening. The hair pull test was positive. Dermoscopic examination indicated telogen hair. The patient was diagnosed as acute telogen effluvium. The patient's condition was improved after treatment of minoxidil, hashimide vitamin complex tablets and vitamin D2 and calcium hydrogen phosphate tablets.
