Pemphigoid nodularis following COVID-19 vaccination: a case report

Abstract: A 68-year-old male presented with papules, nodules and pruritus on his trunk and limbs for eight months. He developed these rashes three days after the first dose of inactivated COVID-19 vaccine injection, and symptoms worsened after the second injection. Combined with pathology and direct immunofluorescence, the diagnosis of pemphigoid nodularis was made. The patient was treated with tripterygium wilfordii polyglycosides, minocycline, azathioprine and topical corticosteroids for 3 months, and his condition gradually improved.
