Minocycline induced facial and hand back skin hyperpigmentation: a case report

Abstract: A 64-year-old man presented to our hospital with gradually darkening facial and hand back skin. He had been taking niacinamide, Tripterygium wifordii, dapsone, and minocycline for the past 14 weeks for treatment of bullous pemphigoid. The minocycline was replaced by roxithromycin. At a follow-up visit 42 weeks later, the facial and hand back hyperpigmentation were resolved.
