Mohs microsurgery in treatment of eccrine porocarcinoma

Abstract: A 56-year-old male patient presented with left temporal mass for more than 4 years, which recurred for half a year after resection. The pathological shows tumor masses in the dermis, some with central flaky necrosis. Immunohistochemistry showed there were CK5/6 tumor cells  and positive for EMA of peripheral necrotic tumor cells. The diagnosis of eccrine porocarcinoma was made. The patient underwent Mohs microsurgery and full-thickness skin graft. The patient recovered well after surgery. with no recurrence after 18 months follow-up.
