Abstract: Majocchi granuloma is a perifollicular granulomatous inflammation caused by dermatophytes, which classified follicular type and subcutaneous nodular type. The most common pathogen is Trichophyton rubrum. Subcutaneous nodular Majocchi granuloma occurs often in immunocompromised individuals. We report a case of subcutaneous nodular Majocchi granuloma in a diabetic patient with normal immune function, where the identified fungal species is Trichophyton rubrum, and review the relevant literature.
