Abstract: Objective: To detect serum level of IL-35 in the patients with psoriasis vulgaris. Methods: Serum level of IL-35 was measured by double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in 30 patients with psoriasis vulgaris. Results: The serum level of IL-35 was significantly higher than that in normal controls (P<0.01), and there was significant difference between the active stage and the resting stage of the disease (P<0.05). The serum level of IL-35 was positively or negatively? associated with PASI score. Conclusion: The IL-35 may play an important rale in the pathogenesis of psoriasis vulgaris.
