Abstract: Objective: To detect the expression levels of Klf4 in the lesions of the patients with psoriasis or eczema. Methods:The expression levels of Klf4 in the lesions of psoriasis or eczema was detected by immunohistochemistry methods. Results: The average number of KIf4 positive cells in the psoriatic lesions was (346.5624.91), which was higher than that in the normal skin (235.12±20.32), with a significant difference (P<0.05). The average number of KIf4 positive cells in the eczema lesions was (75.94±15.61), which was lower than that in normal skin (P<0.05). Conclusion: Klf4 was down-regulated in patients with eczema and was up-regulated in the patients with psoriasis. Klf4 may play a different role in the pathogenesis of different diseases.
