Abstract: The skin lesions of the 3 patients were all pale red papules and nodules with smooth surfaces and hard textures. They were initially diagnosed as keloids, but the treatment proved ineffective. After being admitted to our hospital, histopathological examinations were performed. The pathological features of the 3 patients were consistent with cutaneous leiomyoma, clear cell acanthoma, and dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, respectively, and all patients underwent surgical resection. This paper summarizes the above 3 cases and analyzes the causes of misdiagnosis, aiming to provide a reference for clinically avoiding misdiagnosis of such diseases.
