Granulomatous periorificial dermatitis: a case report

Abstract: A 49-year-old male presented with erythema and papules on his jaw for 10 years. Dermatological examination showed erythema covered with papules and scale, densely distributed on his jaw. Biopsy showed multiple epithelioid cell granulomas and lymphocytes infiltration in the upper to middle dermis. The patient was diagnosed with granulomatous periorificial dermatitis and received oral doxycycline 0.1 g, tiwce a day, and topical tacrolimus ointment 0.1%. The rash subsided completely after the treatment for 40 days.
