IL-17 inhibitor treated a specific type of psoriasis resistant to TNF-α inhibitor

Abstract: We reported a case of psoriatic arthritis using conventional dose of TNF-αinhibitor after controlling the disease with high dose methotrexate. After three years of maintenance therapy, the patient occurred skin lesions on the trunk and both lower limbs.The patient was treated with IL-17 inhibitor and TNF-αinhibitor until the lesion disappeared, IL-17 inhibitor monotherapy for 8 weeks, the lesions were completely subsided and no recurrence of joint symptoms.
