Refractory SAPHO syndrome treated with tofacitinib: a case report

Abstract: We report a case of refractory SAPHO syndrome in which the disease could not be controlled by traditional drugs such as methotrexate and aveloxan capsules. After 6 weeks of maintenance treatment with adalimumab and echizumab, the disease remained uncontrolled.The rash completely disappeared,smooth new nail proximal to the toenail, no pressure pain in the sternoclavicular joint,after 75 days of treatment with the JAK inhibitor tofacitab.
