Abstract: A 52-year-old male presented with rashes on the left upper limb accompanied by fever for six days. He had slaughtered cattle two weeks prior to the onset of symptom. Physical examination revealed diffuse edema of the left upper limb, an ulcerated surface, black eschar on erythematous areas, minimal fluid accumulation on the surface, and small vesicles at the periphery. Analysis of rash blister indicated positive qPCR result for Bacillus anthracis. The diagnosis of cutaneous anthrax was made.
