Clinic analysis of 303 cases with drug eruption

Abstract: Objective: To determine the allergenic drugs in 303 inpatients with drug eruption in our hospital. Methods: The data of 303 patients with drug eruption, diagnosed from September 2006 to August 2016, was analyzed retrospectively. Results: Out of 303 patients, there were 34 patients with severe drug eruption and 269 patients with mild-moderate drug eruptions. Out Of the 269 patients with mild-moderate drug eruptions, exanthematous?type (188 patients) was the most. The allergenic drugs in 183 patients with mild-moderate drug eruption mainly included antibiotics in 144 patients and analgesic-antipyretic in 22. The allergenic drugs in 31 patients with sever drug eruption mainly included antiepileptic drugs in 11 patients, anti-gout?drugs in 8 and antibiotics in another 7. Conclusion: The most common allergenic drugs in the patients with mild-moderate drug eruption were antibiotics and the most common allergenic drugs in the patients with sever drug eruption were antiepileptic drugs.
