Abstract: Objective: To analyze the elevated IgE level in the patients with psoriasis. Methods: The articles of the IgE level in the patients with psoriasis were searched in MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, SinoMed, CNKI and Wanfang database from January 1976 to January 2018. The data was analyzed by Stata 12.0. Results: Ten articles including 1223 cases met the criteria. Meta analysis showed the ratio of the patients with elevated serum IgE was higher than that of the controls (OR=2.8595%,95%CI:2.23~3.65), with a significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusions: The level of IgE in the patients with psoriasis is increased, which means that IgE may play an important role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.
