Unclosed wound surgery combined with photodynamic therapy for SCC-KA: a case report

Abstract: A 95-year-old female presented with pink nodules on the back of nose for one month. Dermatological examination showed peanut-sized pink nodules on the back of nose, with hard texture, poor mobility, prominent margins and crusts in the center. The pathological features was in accordance with the diagnosis of keratoacanthoma-type well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. The tumors were excised and dissected combined with photodynamic therapy for 4 times. The wound healed well.
