Pseudomembrane-like tinea on scrotum caused by Microsporum gypseum: a case report

Abstract: A 21-year-old male presented with white patches on the scrotum with itching for 2 weeks. Microsporum gypseum was identified under the microscope after culture and the sequence of ITS. The patient was treated with terbinafine cream for 4 weeks. The lesion healed gradually and microscopy examination was negative.
