Birt-Hogg-Dubé syndrome: a case report

Abstract: A 30-year-old male presented with multiple face, neck and upper trunk and distal extremities sporadic papules for 4 years, occasionally with itching. Three lesions were examined by histology, which were characterized by trichodiscomas, perifollicular fibromas and acrochordons. Pulmonary CT scans showed right upper lobe alveoli. The diagnosis of Birt-Hogg-Dubé syndrome was made.
