Abstract: The characteristics sclerosing lichen under reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) in a patient were summarized and the related literature were reviewed. The RCM imaging characteristics included hair follicle horn embolism, thinning of epidermis, flat trochanterellus, edematous dermal papillas, dense arrangement of fibers in superficial dermal with high diopter and infiltration of a few inflammatory cells around the superficial blood vessels. All above features were highly in accordance with the features of pathological examination.
