Agranulocytosis caused by dapsone in the treatment of leprosy: a case report

Abstract: We report a case of agranulocytosis caused by dapsone in the treatment of leprosy. The result of HLA-B*1301 gene test in this patient was negative, which easily made doctors ignore the adverse drug reactions caused by dapsone. Therefore, the case report should alert dermatologists.
