Monkeypox complicated with AIDS and syphilis: a case report

Abstract: A 25-year-old male presented with fever and pustules for 4 weeks. The samples of skin rash scab, pustular fluid, nasopharyngeal swab and blood were tested by RT- PCR and positive for monkeypox virus (West African branch). The patient, who has sex with men, was diagnosed with HIV two years ago and syphilis one year ago.
