Expression of FOXP1 and hMSH2 in patients with psoriasis vulgaris in Xinjiang region

Abstract: Objective: To detect the expression level of FOXP1 and hMSH2 in the lesions of patients with psoriasis vulgaris in Xinjiang region. Methods: The level of FOXP1 and hMSH2 was detected by envision immunohistochemistry method in the lesions of 51 patients with psoriasis vulgaris and normal skin of 29 healthy controls. Results: The level of FOXP1 and hMSH2 in lesions was 92.16% and 94.12% which was higher than those in the normal skin (65.52% and 55.17%), with significant differences (P<0.01). Conclusion: FOXP1 and hMSH2 may be associated with the onset of psoriasis vulgaris.
