Abstract: Objective: To determine the risk factors related to the onset of acne vulgaris, in order to provide evidence for the intervention of and development of acne vulgaris. Methods: Three hundred outpatients with acne vulgaris were investigated with a questionnaire, and SPSS17.0 software was used to analyze the risk factors of the disease. Results: Logistic analysis showed that the proportion of the patients with irregular sleep in acne group is higher than in control group (P<0.05); The proportion of patients who consumed more spicy and sweet foods was higher in the patients with acne vulgaris than in control group, but the difference was not significant (P>0.05). Conclusion: Effects of diet on the pathogenesis of acne vulgarisis has not be found, and irregular sleep is probably an independent risk factor for the onset of acne vulgaris.
