Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of platelet-rich plasma combined with fractional CO2 laser in the treatment of facial atrophic acne scar. Methods: The related randomized controlled clinical trails of platelet-rich plasma combined with fractional CO2 laser for facial atrophic acne scars from Cochrane Library, Embase, Medline, CNKI, Wanfang and VIP were searched from the date of establishment to July 2019. The trails were evaluated according to Cochrane system evaluation method. Revman 5.3 software was used for meta-analysis. Results: Five RCTs were included. Meta analysis showed that the total effective rate and cure rate of combined therapy were higher than those of laser alone group (P=0.008,0.0002) and there was no significant difference in erythema, edema duration and pain score between combined therapy and laser alone (P=0.21,0.35,0.50). Conclusion: The efficacy rate of platelet-rich plasma combined with fractional CO2 laser treatment for atrophic acne scar is higher than that of laser only and there is no statistical difference in adverse reactions.
