Abstract: Spitzoid melanoma is a rare malignant melanoma, and its differentiation from Spitz nevus is a big challenge in clinical dermatopathology. The patient had a slowly growing mass on the medial skin of the right ankle joint for more than 2 years, with later surface rupture. According to the clinical manifestation, pathology, immunohistochemical staining, and detection of FISH, the diagnosis of spitzoid melanoma was made. The tumor was surgically removed and no recurrence or metastasis was found during the follow-up of 29 months.
