Abstract: The data of 942 new-onset cases from 2011 to 2015 years in Guizhou Province was analyzed retrospectively. Of 942 new-onset cases, 306 cases (32.48%) were intra-familial infected patients, including 217 males and 89 females. The age of 306 patients ranged from 7 to 89 years, the average age was 34.58 years old and 31 patients (10.13%) was under 15 years. Of 306 patients, 242 was multibacillary type and 64 was paucibacillary leprosy. The time of delayed diagnosis was from 5 days to 40.8 years, the average time was 2.6 years. Fifty three patients had grade 1 disability and 92 had grade 2 disability. The most infection source of new patients in the family was the blood relatives (272 patients, 90.20% ), especially the parents (152 patients, 49.67%).
