Abstract: The data of 492 newly diagnosed leprosy patients in Guizhou Province from 2014 to 2019 was analyzed. Of 492 cases, 87 (17.68%) had grade 2 disability. The rate of grade 2 disability in males (19.94%) was higher than in females (12.58%), which in over 60 years old group (33.96%) was higher than that in the group of 15 to 59 years old (15.69%), which in the group of over 2 years of course (37%) was higher than in the group of less 2 years of course (9%). 33.13% of the cases were found in the dermatology clinic and 30.08% were found in the clue survey. Sympeom monitoring, clue investigation, and contact inspection can reduce the occurrence of disability.
